On the first day of our 7 days Morocco trip from Casablanca, we meet you at Casablanca Airport, or at your accommodation, from here we will guide you to visit Casablanca the largest city in the Country.

Then, we will head north to Chefchaouen the blue pearl morocco, in addition to that, we explore the amazing historical landmarks including the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and Meknes, and overnight in Fes accommodation.

The next day, our fantastic tour lead us to the desert after visiting the Middle Atlas Region and the cedar forest of Azrou and Ifrane, it is known in Morocco as a “Little Switzerland” as it lies high up in the Atlas Mountains and it is known to snow during the winter season, the best time not come yet.

Finally, we arrive at the desert, where we will spend a magical night in the desert under the stars. We continue our driving to Marrakech after it visiting the famous filming spots of Ouarzazate, and exploring both Todraa and Dades gorges.

On the early morning of the last day of our trip, we are going to explore the main sights of Marrakech, and late afternoon we drive to Marrakech Menara Airport. Here we finish our 7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca to the desert.

Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca – Chefchaouen

On the first day of our 7 days Morocco trip from Casablanca, one of our team will pick up you from your accommodation in Casablanca or Mohamed V International airport, we start this tour by driving to Chefchaouen; we depart the economic capital leaving behind the traffic jams and make our way to simply the most beautiful town in Morocco.

Our drivers are flexible, they will surely stop in significant cities and natural sights that you may wish to explore. Once we get to the blue pearl of the Rif Mountains, you can take a walk through the blue-washed walls and take memorable photos.

Place Outa el Hammam is where most of the town’s evening life takes place, it’s a pretty square for simply relaxing and admiring the majestic Rif Mountains which overlook the town. Overnight in the hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast in Chefchaouen, we continue our private 7 days Morocco trip from Casablanca, next destination is Fes. A couple of hours’ drive drop us in Volubilis. The well-preserved Roman ruins dating back to 225 BC, offer the best views of mosaics in Morocco.

Guided by a local expert guide, you will go deeper into the Roman empire’s history and culture. 30km drive takes us to Meknes city; unlike any other city in Morocco, Meknes city is associated with a single figure, Sultan Moulay Ismail.

During his 55-year reign, the city was transformed from a forgettable provincial center into a spectacular capital with twenty gates and over fifty palaces enclosed within 45km of exterior walls.

A visit to the founder’s Mausoleum will help us discover more about the city especially when we go closer to Place El-Hedim, a square of the city’s evening life.

In front of the square, there is the Bab Mansour, startingly rich in its ceremonial decoration and almost perfectly preserved. Finally, we visit the granary of Dar el Makhazen and Heri es Souani which is used for irrigation and plantation.

In the evening, we hit the road to Fes city. Overnight accommodation at the medina of Fes. Here we finish the second day of our 7 days Morocco trip from Casablanca desert tour.

Day 3: Day tour of Fes

On the third day of this 7-day trip in Morocco, you will explore the cultural capital of Morocco, Fes city. Home to one of the oldest universities in the world, Al-Qaraouiyine University, the city holds marvelous cultural, religious, and historical sites.

Starting with the massive golden doors of the Royal Palace and the blue gate of Bab Bou Jeloud, the trip continues to shade the lights on Fes highlights. Madrasa Bouinania and Al Attarine Madrasa are old schools for teaching Quran that are worth visiting.

We also definitely visit the most well-known attraction of Fes, Chaouara Tanneries, a unique experience to see the natural dyeing products. To go deeper into the area’s culture and history, you can walk through the colorful alleys of the medina which are full of shops selling different products.

Moulay Idriss Mausoleum is an essential station during the trip, Moulay Idriss is the founder of Fes city at the end of the eighth century. The following stop would be the Najjarine Museum of wooden arts and crafts.

After lunch and some rest, experience a panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in the same city.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Today we will leave Fes and make our way to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Driving through the Middle Atlas, you will see the Berber villages sideways.

The first interesting stop will be at Ifran city, often called Switzerland of Morocco, which was established during the French colonial era as an alpine ski resort. With lower temperatures than many of the nation’s other cities and towns.

The next stop is in the biggest forest in Morocco, the Cedar Forest of Azrou, in which we will see the Barbary apes sneaking around and domestic Berber horses. During lunchtime, we will be in Midelt Province, where we will have lunch.

After a certain time, we carry on the way to Merzouga Desert crossing the High Atlas Mountains. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal desert hints as we approach Er-Rachidia city.

You will get an amazing chance to take nice photos when we stop at Ziz Valley; home to hundreds of kasbahs and Ksours which make for an interesting way to the golden sand dunes of Merzouga.

Arrival in the Desert, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before we get on camels and ride through the dunes straightway to the camps.

Attend a marvelous sunset above the dunes, we descend to the camps where you will experience spending a night in the middle of the Sahara Desert.

To make it an unforgettable night, you will taste a Berber dinner followed by some drums music or simply ascend the dune to relax and set your eyes on the sparkling sky filled with billions of shining stars.

Eventually, sleep quietly in your well-equipped Berber tent.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha Gorges – Boumalne Dades

Waking up early in the morning to attend a fascinating sunrise, you will be given the choice to get back to the hotel either by camel or car.

After breakfast and shower, we drive for 36km to Rissani. With its rich souk full of craftsmanship and its magnificent Ksours in and around the city, Rissani is the Alaouite cradle and the gate of the Sahara Desert.

Erfoud is another small city near Rissani, known for dates production and fossils workshops. After that, we continue the way to Tinghir.

With its beautiful valley, the city opens the way to the famous gorges of Todgha. This trench through the High Atlas presents an arresting spectacle, its gigantic rock walls changing color to magical effects as they unfold.

Took a walk in the majestic Gorges, and we continue driving to Dades Valley. This valley begins almost immediately north of Boumalne, known for its high cliffs of limestone and weirdly shaped erosions.

In the evening, we stop at Boumalne Dades to find out more about the area. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Boumalne Dades – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

On the morning of the sixth-day trip, we depart Boumalne Dades and make our way to Marrakech; we will go through special stop stations.

We begin the tour by driving through the Roses Valley to get to the town of Kelaat M’Gouna where local cooperation picks roses and distilled the product into precious rose oil and other beauty products.

Skoura village, which lies off the main road, at the end of the oasis, holds a well-known kasbah; usually referred to as a living museum, Amerhidil Kasbah is a 17th-century kasbah that was built by a family which is still responsible for it.

Next, we drive for less than an hour to visit Ouarzazate city, an important city in the south and home to many movie studios. We will pay a visit to the city’s only real sight of historical interest, Taourirt Kasbah which is owned by the Lord of the Atlas, Thami El Glaoui.

The next stop will be at a magnificent kasbah, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where we have lunch and a tour of the massive building.

Now it’s time to head over to the High Atlas Mountains in one of the most beautiful drives in Morocco. Above the High Atlas Mountains, we will drive through the snaky roads and stop on top of Tizi N’Tishka mountain passing 2260m to catch an amazing panoramic view of the mountains.

In the evening, we will reach Marrakech. You might want to have free time for the rest of the day to explore the area yourself. The night is spent in Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech exploration and transfer to the Airport

On the last day of our 7 days trip adventure,  your local expert guide will meet you at the Riad for a day tour of Marrakech.

On this day you’ll get a thorough sight of Marrakech’s history and culture; in which you will visit different historical and cultural sites and religious buildings: El Bahia Palace, Dar Si Said Museum, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque and so many other interesting sites.
